Christmas Card Letter and Family Picture

Merry Christmas from the Mayfield’s and the Bailey Boys!!
This year has been a little crazy and exciting! We had a baby boy January 25, Gratton Robert Mayfield. He was six pounds and 18” long. He is now ten months old, 20 lbs, and pretty tall! I’m not sure how tall he is, but he wears 18 month clothing! My little brother Jonny moved in with us in April and another little brother Bryce moved in with us in October. So last year it was just the two of us, and now we have grown to a family of five!
David chose his major finally, Computer Engineering, which is a blend of electrical engineering and computer science. He gets to tinker with circuit boards and be on the computer all day long, which is a dream come true for him.
Gratton is learning to walk right now, and it is so cute! He can say mama, dada, yeah, and is learning to say no. He knows how to crawl up the stairs, and likes to get into lots of mischief! He is a little bundle of joy though!
I’ve got one more semester left until I finish my Bachelors degree in Biology. I started taking ballet classes again in September, and performed in the Nutcracker again! I love ballet, and David finally got to see me dance.
Bryce joined wrestling, and did a great job! He even got on varsity. He is in eighth grade and is doing well in school. He found a website that teaches guitar lessons, and is a natural! Jonny is in ninth grade, and is doing great in school too. He is also doing really well in scouts. At scout camp this summer, he got the most merit badges out of all the boy scouts! These boys are really really smart. They made a projector out of a magnifying glass, a cell phone and a shoe box. They’re always working on little projects like that. We’re going to teach the boys to snowboard this winter, and hopefully they will learn to like the winters in Idaho!
We have had a great year, and can’t wait to start another one!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Love,
David, Sonja, Gratton, Jonny and Bryce!
