Cute and cuddly

Gratton has been such a cuddle bug this week! He has been cuddling with me a ton. He will take a break from playing, just to come up and sit in my lap for a few minutes. I love this kid!

We're having a baby!

David and I are having a baby! We are due on February 6th, so I am fifteen weeks right now. In five weeks we find out if it is a boy or a girl, I can't wait. I keep thinking it is going to be a boy, so we'll see if I am right! We decided we wanted to have a baby, and like 2 weeks after I stopped taking the birth control we got pregnant! I honestly thought it would take a lot longer, but I guess not. I have a belly now, and I can't wear any of my normal clothes anymore. Luckily they make cute prego clothes! I haven't gained any weight yet though, even though my belly has gotten pretty big. Everything has just rearranged I guess. Every once and a while I get cravings, but not that much really. David might disagree though, I'm not sure. My little sister claims I am more short tempered now, which is definitely true. Today's commentary

In my book The immune system recovery plan, it says, " You should choose food based on how it will affect your cells, not just based on calories." Crap. Apparently, this means I should eat an apple because of its anti-inflammatory nutrients like quercetin, and avoid things like cookies which have lots of sugar and fat, which can create inflammation. Everything I have learned is a lie... The cake is a lie.

Kahlan watches Harry Potter for the first time

So here is the rule Kahlan- if you want to wake up and play before 5am, you'll be watching Harry Potter with mommy! This is the first time she's watched Harry Potter, but I had to start with the second movie because I couldn't find the first one. You have your big brother to thank for that one Kahlan! Well back to cleaning. This is my second day of my treatment on steroids and thank you Dr Hancock! I'm already feeling a bit better for the first time in ages!
