I came home from work last night at 6pm, to a very pleasant surprise! Gratton decided randomly and on his own, that he wanted to share his toys with Kahlan, and wanted her to play in his "house" with him! I couldn't believe it! He also kicked David and I out of the room, because he wanted to play with just his sister. So he told us to "go outside!" Now I don't typically let my toddler boss me around, but I was so surprised and curious that I laughed, threw my hands up and walked out of the room as he closed the door behind me. I stayed close by the door to listen, in case this was all a trick to make his little sister cry without any interruption. However, nothing of the sort happened! They were just laughing and playing, and Gratton even told David, "Papa Santa (he thinks his Grandpa Mayfield is Santa)gave me lots of toys, so I can share with Kahlan. My first haircut!!!!

Before After I win, I win!!! I cut David's hair, and it doesn't look horrible!! And now our hair cutting bill will be substantially lower! His hair grows like a weed, and needs a good cut like every 3 weeks. It was such a nice day today that we sat in the backyard while I did it. It was soooo much fun! David held a mirror at the end, so that he could coach me on exactly how he wanted it. The clipper set was only $27, and a haircut for him is about 20 bucks every 3-4 weeks. It even came with an apron thingy, and a neck brush and mini clippers and 8 different size thingies that go over the razor, and scissors and tons of other stuff. Basically it was a great set for a great price. Go Wal-Mart!

We're having a baby!

David and I are having a baby! We are due on February 6th, so I am fifteen weeks right now. In five weeks we find out if it is a boy or a girl, I can't wait. I keep thinking it is going to be a boy, so we'll see if I am right! We decided we wanted to have a baby, and like 2 weeks after I stopped taking the birth control we got pregnant! I honestly thought it would take a lot longer, but I guess not. I have a belly now, and I can't wear any of my normal clothes anymore. Luckily they make cute prego clothes! I haven't gained any weight yet though, even though my belly has gotten pretty big. Everything has just rearranged I guess. Every once and a while I get cravings, but not that much really. David might disagree though, I'm not sure. My little sister claims I am more short tempered now, which is definitely true. My medical story in a netshell, 9 years in

I'm very annoyed today. I've been in so much kidney pain today that I've been in bed almost all day. So i get frustrated and get up and do something and then the pain comes back and i go back to bed. Just had a panic attack about being in bed too much. Took my anxiety meds though and they should soon start working. Being sick is stupid. I hate it so much.  It's frustrating because how this started- it was just pregnancy gallstones. That's it! And the Drs missed it. And so I got pancreatitis, and they missed that too. Until my sister in law Kirstie finally took me to the ER ( she forced me) and I forcibly they do labs or SOMETHING, when I could tell the ER was about to write me off again. The ER notes show that he did indeed think I was exaggerating at first.  After I insisted he do something, like at least land, the Dr noticed my stomach was jaundiced.
